When to come and where to park
The surf season on this coast runs from autumn to spring, when Atlantic swells reach the point breaks. Summer brings smaller waves and is better for beginners. Book early for the winter months, when surf camps fill up and cars go quickly.
Taghazout's main street is narrow and busy at sunset. Most surfers park at the edge of the village or at their camp, and walk in. The resort hotels of Taghazout Bay, a few minutes south, all have their own parking.
