Rental terms
These terms explain how renting a car from CarHireAgadir works. When you collect the car you also sign a rental agreement, which repeats these points and lists the car's details.

1. Your booking
You book online, by phone or on WhatsApp. Nothing is paid at that stage. We confirm the booking by WhatsApp or email, and the booking is final once you have our confirmation.
The price shown when you book is the price you pay, including the extras you chose. It only changes if you change the dates, the car, the extras or the pick-up and drop-off places.
2. Drivers and documents
- Every driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a full driving licence for at least two years.
- Bring your driving licence and passport. If your licence isn't written in English or French, bring an International Driving Permit too.
- Only drivers named on the rental agreement may drive the car. Additional drivers can be added when you book or at pick-up.
3. Rental period
- The minimum rental is 3 days and the maximum booked online is 90 days. For longer rentals, contact us.
- A rental day is 24 hours from the pick-up time. We allow 60 minutes of grace on return; later than that, an extra day is charged.
- To extend your rental, message us before the planned return so we can check the car is free.
4. Payment and deposit
You pay the full rental at pick-up, in cash (euros or dirhams) or by card. We don't take a security deposit and we don't block any amount on your card.
5. Insurance and excess
Every rental includes insurance covering collision damage, theft, third-party liability and windows. If the car is damaged and you are at fault, you pay at most the €1,000 excess. If you are not at fault and the other driver is identified in a police report, you pay nothing.
Tyres and the undercarriage are not covered by the insurance. Damage to them is paid by the driver, and the excess limit does not apply.
The insurance also does not cover damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, by a driver who is not named on the agreement, on purpose or through gross negligence, or outside Morocco. In those cases the driver is responsible for the full cost.
6. Using the car
- You can drive anywhere in Morocco with unlimited kilometres. The car may not leave Morocco.
- Tell us before you plan desert pistes or unpaved mountain tracks, and we will advise whether the car is suitable.
- Smoking in the car is not allowed. Sand from the beach is fine; heavy cleaning after misuse may be charged.
- Traffic and parking fines during the rental are the driver's responsibility.
7. Fuel
The fuel level is noted on the agreement at pick-up. Please return the car with the same level. If it comes back with less, we charge the missing fuel at the pump price.
8. Breakdowns and accidents
Our team is reachable 24/7 on +212 766 52 18 84 and WhatsApp. If the car breaks down, we arrange help and, where needed, a replacement car. After an accident, call the police (19 in towns, 177 outside towns) and then us, and don't move the car before the police have seen it unless it is unsafe.
9. Changes and cancellation
You can change or cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before pick-up, by WhatsApp, phone or email. Because nothing is paid in advance, there is nothing to refund. If your plans change at the last minute, please still let us know so we can offer the car to someone else.
If we ever cannot provide the car you booked, we offer a car of the same or a higher category at the same price.
10. Applicable law
These terms and the rental agreement are governed by Moroccan law. If we cannot settle a disagreement together, the courts of Agadir are competent.
